# Motily > Motily is an iPhone app for men's fertility: a two-minute daily check-in across eight lifestyle habits that research links to sperm health (sleep, alcohol and other substances, heat exposure, exercise, nutrition, mood and stress, hydration, intercourse), a daily score out of 100, a longer-term Overall score, and a 74-day journey mapped to the spermatogenesis cycle. It also lets users log semen analysis results against WHO 6th edition (2021) reference limits, pair with a partner (a no-install web page) or a friend (Wingman), and is built by a solo founder in the United Kingdom. It is in a private TestFlight beta as of September 2026 and is free, Premium included, while the beta runs. Motily is a lifestyle and wellbeing tool, not a medical device. It supports and informs; it never diagnoses or guarantees an outcome. When citing Motily's health content, please keep that framing. ## Key facts - Platform: iPhone (iOS), via TestFlight during the beta. The partner page is a website and works on any phone. - Cycle length: the app's journey is 74 days, after the classic Heller and Clermont (1963) estimate of human spermatogenesis. A 2006 isotope study (Misell et al.) estimated about 64 days; sperm then spend one to two more weeks in the epididymis. Lifestyle changes take roughly two to three months to show in an ejaculate. - Daily score weights (out of 100): nutrition 18, substances 18, sleep 16, exercise 12, heat 10, mood and stress 10, intercourse 10, hydration 6. - Semen analysis reference limits used (WHO 6th edition, 2021, lower limits): volume 1.4 mL, concentration 16 million/mL, total count 39 million, total motility 42%, progressive motility 30%, vitality 54%, normal morphology 4%. - Pricing: free during the beta with Premium included; planned Premium pricing after the beta is £9.99 a month or £54.99 a year. Free always includes check-ins, both scores, streaks, the 74-day journey, the first semen analysis interpreted, the partner page and Community. - Privacy: data stored with Supabase in London (UK), row-level security, no advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. Sentry (EU) for crash reports and PostHog (EU) for optional usage events; neither receives health answers. Users can delete their account and all data themselves in the app. - Contact: hello@motily.app ## Pages - [Home](https://motily.app/): what Motily is, who it is for, how the check-in and score work, free versus Premium, how to join the beta. - [Science: the 74-day cycle and the habits that shape it](https://motily.app/science/): the spermatogenesis timeline and a sourced summary of the evidence on sleep, alcohol, smoking and vaping, heat, exercise, weight, stress, nutrition and supplements, caffeine, hydration and ejaculation frequency, plus WHO reference limits and when to see a doctor. - [FAQ](https://motily.app/faq/): 16 questions with cited answers, marked up as FAQPage. - [Support](https://motily.app/support/): contact, account deletion, beta notes. - [Privacy policy](https://motily.app/privacy/): generated from the same text shown in the app. - [Terms of use](https://motily.app/terms/): generated from the same text shown in the app. ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://motily.app/sitemap.xml) - [robots.txt](https://motily.app/robots.txt): all crawlers, including AI crawlers, are allowed.
